What is a Dermaplane Facial? First here at Aja's we start with a brief skin analysis to make sure you're a good candidate for the service. If you have extremely sensitive skin, pustule acne, or open abrasions on the skin then this service is not ideal for you. We initiate the service with a double cleanse using our "Mask Off" cleanser, then we make sure the skin is dry and prepared for the service. The esthetician then takes a medical grade scalpel and starts what we call an aggressive exfoliation technique. The entire top layer of dead skin, dirt, oil and villus hair will be removed. This service is also considered a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment which is designed to make the skin feel smoother, remove unwanted "peach fuzz" and to help the skin appear healthier and more youthful. You will see results as soon as the facial is complete. After the Dermaplane treatment itself we apply our "Acne Killa Mask" thats infused with Turmeric and Licorice root to help kill ace causing bacteria as well as diminish the appearance of dark spots. After a Dermaplane treatment the skin is able to absorb product better, so we like to take this time to administer any skin treatments such as collagen, or any type of serum. We use our "Platinum Girl Serum" which is infused with CBD oil to help almost ANY skin condition from Eczema to Rosacea and it helps control the oil production in the skin. We finish with an SPF 40 and our "Literally Life" moisturizer that is Shea Butter based to also help diminish the appearance of dark marks and discoloration.
