Dermaplaning is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment designed to make skin feel smoother, to remove any unwanted facial hair, and to appear healthier and more youthful. Like Microdermabrasion, dermaplaning removes the top-most layer of facial skin, thus eliminating dead skin cells and minor surface imperfections. Recommended every 4-6 weeks. What is the technique? This technique is safely performed using a blade specifically designed for dermaplaning. Once the skin is properly prepped, the technician hold the skin taut and gently glides the blade along the skin's surface at a 45 degree angle. Is it safe? No, this is physiologically impossible. The soft, fine velours hair will grow back slowly-usually in about 4 weeks.
